Tailored specially for corporations to care for their employee's mental wellbeing needs

Our services include stress management, therapy for depression and anxiety, conflict management and substance abuse counselling. The counsellors assist and mediate problems to ensure a constructive perspective of the problem can emerge to allow the employees to change to be more successful.

Work-related stress can lead to serious mental health problems, like depression and anxiety disorders. Encouraging employees  to check up on their mental health with a mental health screen can help determine if what someone is experiencing might be the first signs of a mental health problem.

Why is mental wellbeing important in your workspace

After counselling, the incidence of work presenteeism was cut in half. The study converted absenteeism and presenteeism into the total hours of lost productive time for work. The good news is that after counselling, productivity time has been restored by more than 3 full workdays/month.

Employees who experience high levels of burnout are 63% more likely to take a sick day, 13% less confident in their performance and 23% more likely to visit the emergency room.

EMental health has been in the spotlight throughout 2020, as employees struggle to balance work and home responsibilities during a tumultuous year. 42% reported symptoms of an anxiety or depressive disorder (period over 6 months .(Jun-Nov 2020) To keep mental health top of mind, it’s critical employers continue to offer support and benefit programs that meet the needs of their employees

It is estimated that more than half of the workforce is grappling with stress. Younger people (18-44 years of age) are suffering the most from social distancing. In a pandemic world, the issue of presenteeism takes on whole new meaning. Many employees are working from home co-mingled with their school-aged children, making this challenge exceedingly more difficult . EAPs can’t get the word out on their own. They need a strong partnership with their client organizations to promote this much needed program. EAPs are needed, now more than ever.

Access to counsellors

No matter how approachable your HR department is, sometimes your staff will find it difficult to ask for help. They worry about being labelled as a problem worker, and about confidentiality. With the EAP, you and your employees have access to counsellors who will listen and work with you on your particular problems with empathy and in total confidentiality assured. A happy and satisfied employee is the best possible work force for any employer to have. Retaining efficient employees also save huge costs spent on retaining a new work force.

Private and confidential

Employee assistance programs are built entirely on a platform of trust.

Employers know this, and employees can rest assured that anything they may say during even the first call to an EAP will go no further than the counsellor they speak to.

Anonymized Data

Employers can’t even tell that a person has called the helpline. While reporting, analytics and usage information are available to an organization paying for an EAP, the data is completely anonymized. All an employer can see is the amount of usage, and not the reason for calling—or the names of those who called. An EAP, after all, is supposed to be entirely voluntary, a means by which employees can proactively seek help to reduce their own stressors. Employee assistance program confidentiality is a necessary part of this.
